I'm trying to install Ubuntu on Cool Pi cm5.

I'm trying to install with an 20230606-ubuntu-22.04-preinstalled-desktop-arm64-cm5-evb-v11.img file.
After running Rockchip_DriverAssitant_v5.1.1 and installing the drive, I connected the USB to the bottom of CoolFi USB3.0 and connected it to the PC, but CoolFi is not recognized.

I don't know what to do because there is no detailed explanation in the provided manual. Please tell me the detailed method.

I purchased a cool pi cm5 evb model and would like to install ubuntu on EMMC.

Thank you for reading my post.

      Please give me some advice.

@大法师 I followed your instructions and emmc was recognized, so I copied ubuntu using balenaEtcher.
And even though I disconnected the USB line connected to the USB terminal, turned off the Cool Pi, and turned it back on, the OS does not boot.
Please advise on what action to take.

Do you have a USB to serial port tool? If you can provide a startup log, it will be more convenient for us to analyze and solve the problem. Based on the current description, the possibility of insufficient power supply is relatively high. It is recommended to replace the TYPEC adapter before testing.

Now I fully understand the problem. Please refer to this part for others as well.

                        1. There was a problem with the power supply.
