I have two Dell P2715Q monitors connected to the Laptop. One is connected to the HDMI port and the other to the Type C port (via an HDMI dongle). The laptop does not recognize the connection on its HDMI port.

      Laptop with connection on HDMI:

      (base) anernest@Banda:~$ xrandr -q
      Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384
      eDP-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 309mm x 174mm
         1920x1080 60.03*+
HDMI-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
      (base) anernest@Banda:~$

Laptop with connection on Type C :

Is there any abnormality when connecting HDMI or TYPEC separately?

@george ...I've tried different cables and different monitors with no difference.

Can you confirm if there are any issues with TYPEC or HDMI separately? I remember the resolution of the three screens should be consistent.

@george I tried just the HDMI port with two other portable HDMI monitors (7inch LESOWN and 11inch Visual Beat), and they work well. The desktop monitors I tried were a 5inch Samsung and 2 27inch Dell P2715Q's. None of the desktop monitors work. My knowledge of HDMI signaling is limited, but I know the desktop monitors are capable of 4K resolution, but should sync down to the highest resolutions available to them. Is the problem here somehow? Is there a possible work-around (maybe some external hardware to force the desktop monitors to stay at 1K?)

@george Please help me out here. The HDMI port only seems to drive small portable monitors. It does not recognize the Dell P27815Q 27inch monitors or the Samsung 50inch TV when I plug them in. This makes the laptop virtually useless to me if I cannot use it to drive HDMI monitors while traveling in meeting rooms. If I cannot get this resolved, I will need to return it and get my money back.

Just wanted to set the record straight regarding the Cool-Pi team's responsiveness. @george had immediately answered me in another thread (Laptop USB-C Alt Mode). My bad for creating multiple threads on the same topic and not checking them all.
