      Has anyone considered merging this back to armbian core? It would be nice to have support for this board in the master release. It could even be a WIP board support, but at least we would have a starting point.

        Thank you for your suggestion. As I haven't paid too much attention to ARMBIAN, I have only tried to develop the corresponding firmware. Currently, my main focus is on Ubuntu Debian Android and the optimization and expansion of the upper and lower layers of the system. You can try adding the Armbian mainline in the future.

          my main focus is on Ubuntu Debian

          • Armbian userspace is lean, clean but 100% Debian/Ubuntu compatible
          • Armbian Linux is available as Debian and Ubuntu based images, compiled from scratch
          • Many stock Debian bugs are fixed on the way, “better than original :)”

          ... and more.

            Recently, I have been working hard to push CM5 NOTEBOOK to the ARMBIAN mainline. Further information will be released as soon as possible. Thank you for your support.

                  @george 那位 I 大哥會一直叫你付錢買,小問題都不太給問,很不像開源社群大家交流的作風,他看不懂中文所以用中文打 😄

                    @george Did you have any success with this? It would be really nice to see Armbian 23.11 with mainline kernel running on the CM5 laptop!

                      Currently, both the official kernel for 6.1 and the mainline kernel for 6.7 are being adapted. Github has already pushed version 6.1, but currently only supports CM5-EVB. Modifications for other machines will be submitted as soon as possible. After the kernel version stabilizes, an updated distribution image will be released.
