Hello,
Wondering if there are any plans to buy this with customized (language specific) keyboard layout?
Especially thinking about a "Nordic" keyboard layout (since I'm from Sweden and would be covered by this but it would also support other Nordic lanugages);

@TheSwede86 There is a minimum quantity requirement for keyboard customization, and how many quantities do you need. Thank you for your attention.

The plastic back panel is a significant drawback. How much better would the cooling be if it were made of metal like the PineBook Pro from Pine64.

@S199pWa1k9r
Thank you for your suggestion. The main reason for choosing this shell is due to structural limitations. As our machine is designed with a core board and bottom board, the overall height will be higher than that of the single board method. At present, the metal shells on the market cannot meet the structural requirements.
We have conducted an evaluation on the heat dissipation, and the current heat dissipation method is to add graphene to the copper skin on the back. The temperature rise during normal video playback can be controlled to around 30 degrees Celsius. -
@george the air ventilation design doesn’t look logical to me, why is it doesn’t directly pulling hot air from the chip? No special cooling conductor to direct the heat from the main chip?

Well, although I can see why there are some benefit from this design, which is the accessibility to the CM5 module for swapping, but the may be we can consider a removable heat conductor or standalone heatsink and or fan doesn’t hurt

@ngavarta
In the early stage, there was a plan to use a copper tube heat sink as shown in the figure below for heat dissipation between the CM5 and the fan. Later, the machines shipped were changed to passive graphite copper sheet heat dissipation.

@george 请问核心板兼容香橙派的核心板吗?可以只买外设不要核心板吗?
-
@顾子韵_w
这款用的是COOLPI CM5的核心板,不兼容第三方的。 -
看起来还有很多空间可以摆放电池,有没有考虑过使用异形电池包来扩大电池容量呢?

Hey !

Are there any plans for a Board revision that would allow charging through the USB-C port?
-
@Momo-0
Currently, V2.0 machines can support TYPCE PD charging. You need to use an adapter that supports the PD protocol. -
@George is there a Possibility to buy the bare v2 board if we already have the Laptop?

V2 bare boards can be purchased separately. You can communicate with customer service through the following link.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006690709030.html?gatewayAdapt=4itemAdapt
The bottom plate of V2 has been modified in four main ways:- As shown in the figure below, replace the WIFI module with a PCIE-M2 connector, which defaults to the RTL8852BE module and can be replaced by the user. Standard PCIE+USB interface.
- The USB3.0 interface adds a redriver circuit to improve the compatibility of USB3.0.
- Modify and add TYPEC PD charging support. Currently, it only supports PD charging when turned on, and does not currently support charging when turned off.
- The LCD connector adds touch signals, allowing the machine to expand the touch screen.

@george and these boards fit the case of the older model perfectly?
-
And is there a chance to ship to Germany?
-
@Momo-0
The structure is the same and can be directly replaced, then upgrade to the latest V20 software.
